Enjoy the peace & grandeur of Highland Perthshire, Scotland
Enjoy the tranquillity, the grandeur, and the beauty of Highland Perthshire from the comfort of a traditional stone building, which is listed as being of architectural interest. Our Lodges have been specifically modernised with self-catering in mind. Located in the heart of Scotland in the farming community of the Breadalbane Environmentally Sensitive Area, there is lots to do and see. You can go hill walking, bird watching, fishing, sailing, canoeing, horse riding or play a round or two of golf at a host of local courses. For the less active, because of its central location, you can tour along many pre-arranged trails, go on a Highland Safari, visit many famous castles, hostelries and distilleries. Or you can stay here, relax and watch the many wild birds, flowers and animals for which Scotland is so famous; not to mention the lambs and calves gambolling in the fields.
In spring the countryside is lush and green and full of delicate promise; in summer enjoy the call of the grouse or curlew in the purple heather; and in the autumn bask in the golden colours which are second to none or seek out the golden eagle. In winter the ski resorts are not so very far away, when the weather permits. At all times you are assured of a warm welcome.
Linen is provided, together with logs for the open fires in four of the houses. Dogs are welcome. We have six houses; three sleep up to four persons, two sleep up to six, and one sleeps up to eight persons. Two boats are available for hire on the Loch.
